Bob Lucore

Librarian, Web Designer, and Economist in Silver Spring, Maryland

I am an information technology consultant working in higher education. I have an MLIS degree from the Information School at San José State University (iSchool). I provide technical support for faculty, staff, and students at the iSchool. I work with content management systems—especially WordPress—and a variety of web-based technologies used by librarians and educators.

I have an MS in economics from Colorado State University. Previously, I worked as the Director of Research and Policy for the United American Nurses, and as an economist for the Teamsters union. I also worked in the Department of Economic Research at the AFL-CIO. I taught economics at the college/university level at Centre College and Colorado State University for eight years.

I am an experienced writer and blogger. Since 1992, I have served on the national board of Americans for Democratic Action.

I volunteer as a co-editor of the liberal opinion magazine The American Commentator.
